Our buses are for everyone who is curious about the past, but they also speak to those who feel connected to the public transport of yesteryear. Each vehicle tells a story that resonates, whether you are a fan or just want to enjoy a nostalgic ride.

At NostalBus, we preserve historical line buses from the Belgian public transport. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, these vehicles are maintained, restored, and made roadworthy again. Because a bus that drives tells its story best. 

The oldest bus in our collection is from 1964, the youngest examples date from 1991 and 1993. During this period, public transport evolved significantly: from a time with red (NMVB) and green (NMBS) buses and the colours of the city companies to the orange examples from 1977 until the transfer to De Lijn in 1991.

Many of our vehicles ran daily line services in Flanders and Wallonia for years. They took passengers to school, to work, to family, to the shop, or just back home. They did this directly for the Local Railways or De Lijn, or as part of the fleet of one of the many subcontractor operators. Today, these buses get a second life as moving heritage. Sometimes even a third or even a fourth life.
