Who are we?
Behind NostalBus currently lies a membership of about 130 members. Most of them are also active volunteers as drivers, technicians, or in another role. We would like to list the main points of contact within our association on this page.

Board Members
The board of NostalBus currently consists of the minimum composition of 3 board members. They are assisted by the expertise of volunteers from the various Working Groups.
Maikel Kegels
chairman / accounting
Maikel takes care of general communication, the editorial of the NostalZine and this website, also handles incoming reservations and supports bus planning. In addition, he also manages the finances and accounting of NostalBus. He also ensures the framework for the own activities. Finally, he also leads the formal bodies of the association.

Bram Devlieger

Bram's main tasks are the secretariat and management of the (web)shop, follows our site in Lochristi and maintains our management program. In addition, he is also ultimately responsible for the fleet within the board. Together with Jarno and Bart from the Technical working group, he oversees the fleet.

Alex De Vreeze

Alex is involved with our regulations, statutes, insurance, prevention and environment and is our representative on the board of our umbrella organisation META vzw.

Core Team Technical Working Group
The Working Group Technology is led by 3 key figures who each have their own responsibilities and together with the Board and the members of the Working Group Technology decide on the work on the fleet and the buildings.
Bart Vanhees
responsible for restorations
Bart is the driving force behind our restoration projects. In addition, he also offers his expertise and a helping hand in the work on the rest of the fleet.

Jarno oversees the fleet at the depot in Berendrecht and is also the expert on our spare parts warehouse.

Bram Devlieger

Bram represents the interests of NostalBus to keep the site in Lochristi in good condition. In addition, he also oversees the fleet in Lochristi and plans the work on the fleet in consultation with the Technical Working Group.

Daily management Technical Working Group
In addition to the core team, these volunteers also take on their role within the Technical Working Group. Behind the scenes, we are of course supported by many more people who contribute during the workdays of the working group.
Reservations and planning
These volunteers piece together the puzzle and also answer your question if you would like to use one of our buses for your activity. They manage our reservation mailbox.

General Assembly
